Day 1: January 18th, 2026 – Arrival in Santiago
Our adventure begins at the stunning Mandarin Oriental, Santiago, where we’ll gather as a group for our first evening together. This hotel is a true gem, offering an oasis of elegance in the heart of the city. With its sophisticated design, spacious suites boasting serene views, and a reputation as one of Santiago’s top culinary destinations (think award-winning restaurants and the city’s most extensive cocktail menu!), it’s the perfect place to kick off our journey. After settling in, we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner, soaking in the warm ambiance and getting to know each other before the adventure-filled days ahead.
Day 2: January 19th, 2026 – Santa Rita Winery
We’ll head south from Santiago to the legendary Santa Rita Winery, a historic estate just a short drive from the capital. Here, we’ll check into their charming hotel, steeped in over a century of tradition and surrounded by natural beauty. The day will be packed with delights: we’ll explore the renowned Andean Museum, showcasing fascinating artifacts of Chilean heritage, indulge in wine tastings of Santa Rita’s exceptional vintages, and stroll through their sprawling 100-acre gardens—a true feast for the senses. Dinner will be a highlight, served at the estate, where history and flavor intertwine in a magical setting.
Days 3 & 4: January 20th–21st, 2026 – Santa Cruz & Hotel Noi
Next, we journey further south to the Colchagua Valley near Santa Cruz, staying two nights at the luxurious Hotel Noi Blend Colchagua. This boutique retreat seamlessly blends modern comfort with the rustic charm of Chile’s wine country. On Day 3, we’ll visit Viña Montes Alpha, a modern and mystical winery designed with Feng Shui principles to harmonize with its surroundings. Known for its pioneering ultra-premium wines, Montes features an impressive underground cellar where 800 French oak barrels age to the sound of Gregorian chants—a truly unique experience. We’ll enjoy a wine tasting and a delicious lunch at their acclaimed restaurant, Fuegos de Apalta, helmed by renowned chef Francis Mallmann, where open flames and vineyard views elevate every bite. In the afternoon, we’ll head to Clos Apalta Winery, a multi-award-winning estate celebrated for its exceptional Bordeaux-style blends. Named “New World Winery of the Year” by Wine Enthusiast in 2008, Clos Apalta’s innovative gravity-fed design and century-old vines promise an awe-inspiring visit. Day 4 will offer free time to relax at Hotel Noi or explore more of the valley’s charm.
Day 5: January 22nd, 2026 – Viña Vik & Transition to Casablanca Valley
We’ll depart Santa Cruz and head to Viña Vik Winery in the Cachapoal Valley, a masterpiece of avant-garde architecture perched atop a hill with sweeping views of its 11,000-acre estate. Vik is as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the palate, blending cutting-edge design with a holistic approach to crafting some of South America’s finest wines. After a tour and tasting, we’ll continue to the Casablanca Valley, where we’ll settle into our home for the next four nights: Casa Macaire. This exclusive villa, nestled among vineyards and rolling hills, offers a peaceful retreat with stylish accommodations, a pool, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Each guest will have their own private suite and bathroom, making it the perfect base for our final days. We’ll enjoy a relaxed evening here, perhaps with a glass of wine from the region’s famed cool-climate varietals.
Days 6–9: January 23rd–26th, 2026 – Casablanca Valley Exploration
From Casa Macaire, we’ll embark on daily adventures. One day, we’ll explore Valparaíso, a colorful coastal city bursting with life—think vibrant street art, historic funiculars climbing steep hills, and a bohemian vibe that’s downright infectious. Another day, we’ll visit Matetic Vineyards, a leader in biodynamic winemaking nestled between Casablanca and San Antonio. With 9,000 acres of stunning landscapes, Matetic offers immersive tours of its sustainable practices and tastings of their world-class Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, and more. For those craving more activity, horseback riding and e-bike excursions will be available for those that want either or both of those activities right from Casa Macaire, winding through the valley’s picturesque terrain. Each morning, a private chef will prepare breakfast at the villa, giving you the flexibility to ease into the day.
